The upcoming HBO adaptation of the Harry Potter continues building its Hogwarts student roster with several characters from Hufflepuff house now officially cast.
According to the latest announcement, four students from Hufflepuff will appear as part of the Hogwarts community when the series begins adapting Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
The newly confirmed cast members include:
- Hannah Abbott played by India Moon
- Justin Finch-Fletchley played by James Trevelyan Buckle
- Ernie Macmillan played by Cian Eagle-Service
- Susan Bones played by Jazmyn Lewin
These characters represent some of the most recognizable students from Hufflepuff house and will help expand the wider Hogwarts student body surrounding the main trio of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley.
Hannah Abbott and the Heart of Hufflepuff
Among the newly announced students is Hannah Abbott, one of the most familiar Hufflepuff classmates in the Harry Potter books.

Another Hufflepuff student joining the cast is Justin Finch-Fletchley.
